Teacher I’m a Lecturer at the Yale School of Drama, where, for the 4th year, I’m teaching a course in On-Camera Acting Technique and Professional Preparation to the 3rd Year Graduate Acting Students. After two intensive years studying theatre, they come to me for help in learning how to work as effectively on film as they do on stage. I also prepare them for navigating the difficult world of show business when they finish their training. For the past 16 years, in addition to being a Casting Director or Casting Consultant for various plays at the Geary Theatre in San Francisco, I have also taught classes to the 3rd Year Graduate Actors at American Conservatory Theater. From 2000-2003, I also directed the presentations they did for agents and casting directors in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. For the past two years, I’ve taught a 7 Day Intensive in On-Camera Technique and Professional Preparation. |
I’ve taught On-Camera Audition Technique to 4th Year Juilliard Acting Students for the past 15 years, and to the 3rd Year graduate actors at The New School for the past two years. |
